After Grenfell: How Safe are We?
A year on from the Grenfell Tower fire that claimed 72 lives, we investigate claims that, even after the Hackitt Review of building regulations, Britain's tower blocks are still not safe.
The Times called it "a vital piece of reportage."

Abortion on Trial
Fifty years after the Abortion Act was passed, Anne Robinson brings together a group of nine people with conflicting views on abortion, to ask if the law is fit for purpose in 2017. Filmed over one weekend in Anne's own home in Gloucestershire, the group share their stories and grapple with some of the most contentious aspects of the law.
The programme got some great reviews...
"One of the most enlightening hours of factual TV in a long while" - Express
"timely and valuable... admirably sober and sensitive" - The Times
"If Anne Robinson was aiming to get them – and, in turn, viewers – to look beyond their own experiences and consider the wider issues, she succeeded" - The Telegraph

Slum Britain: 50 Years On
Available to watch here.
Directed by Oscar-nominated Marcel Mettelsiefen and featuring the extraordinary photographs by Nick Hedges, Slum Britain was produced to mark the 50th anniversary of the housing charity Shelter. The film contrasts the experience of living in the slums of the 1960s with today’s housing crisis and revealed that while the material poverty may have changed over time, it's psychological toll remains.
It received some great reviews in The Times and Guardian after it was broadcast in December 2016 and was shown to the Ending Homelessness Select Committee in Parliament during 2017.

Dispatches: Britain's Pensioner Care Scandal
Originally broadcast in April 2016 and still available to watch here on 4oD.
The hard-hitting investigation made front page news in The Sunday Times: Care Workers Cover Up Neglect
And got a double page spread insdie: Unwashed, ill fed, abandoned - and they call it care
My Behind the Scenes piece about making the programme appeared in Broadcast magazine and, after transmission, Christina Patterson wrote in The Guardian: "I cried over that film. Anyone would cry over that film. I am going to volunteer to visit an old person. Perhaps I’m just thinking of my own lonely future, but I think it’s the least I can do."
A week later, during a Parliamentary Debate about Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease in Westminster Hall, Barbara Keeley MP for Worsley and Eccles South said: "the Channel 4 Dispatches programme last week showed just how poor home care can be, with time clipped from care visits, care-workers working very long days and not being paid for travel time, care needs neglected, and no time for the care-worker to talk and listen to the person receiving care."
And in November 2016, as part of its inquiry into adult social care, the Communities and Local Government Select Committee invited the team to screen the film in Parliament and talk to the Committee about the issues raised in the programme.

Short Film
My short In My Lifetime was a finalist in the What I See Project competition 2014, a global competition on the theme of inspiring the next generation of women and girls around the world.
The judges, including Jude Kelly and MJ Delaney, said: "In my Lifetime - a very polished, beautifully filmed piece about women's achievements that made me proud to be female... The contributions from the children were particularly resonant. It was extremely well edited and effective."
